Board of Christian Stewardship

Purpose: This Board has many varied duties. Members for this Board are nominated by this Board, approved by the (*) Executive Council and confirmed by the Voters Assembly.

This Board plans and conducts an on-going program of Stewardship education for training congregational members in the proper use of God's gifts. Regular reports on church and communion attendance of members is sent to the Board of Elders, informing them of inactive members. Programs for integration of new members into the congregation are planned by this Board and the Assimilation Committee.

This Board is responsible for ordering the envelope packets. It supervises and approves all fund raising within the congregation. It plans, promotes and conducts an on-going program of education regarding mission and welfare work at home and abroad. An inventory of available talent in the congregation is gathered, maintained and distributed each year.
